The New Orleans Saints' rookie class of 2025 reports for its first taste of NFL training today.
"This is a sort of an orientation," said WWL NFL analyst Mike Detillier. Detillier says the main thing the coaches want to get across to these young players this weekend is that things are different now.
"You might have been bigger, faster, stronger, than other guys in college," said Detillier." Not the case when you hit the NFL."
He says they wont be popping pads but they will get some work in on technique. Then the rookies will get welcomed to the NFL by the veteran players when offseason workouts begin May 20, and at minicamp starting June 10.
