Why not have a trade war with Canada? After all - Canada is “one of the worst countries in the entire world,” according to President Trump. As Americans - we can’t be expected to live in harmony with our neighbor to the north if that neighbor is “one of the worst countries in the entire world!”
Canadians collectively seemed to reject the idea of becoming the 51st state of the United States and there is nothing we need from Canada. President Trump is the first president to point out that Canada needs us - we don’t need Canada.
How dare Canada be our largest and most secure supplier of energy with millions of barrels of oil daily - plus natural gas and electricity.
Why do we allow Canada to supply the United States with crucial raw materials and metals - like aluminum and uranium to be used in our manufacturing and technology? This is a travesty!
Canada also assists the United States in defending North American airspace through the North American Aerospace Defence Command. Why do we allow Canada to help us patrol this massive area? We must be crazy!
Canada has also intruded into our disaster relief - such as hurricanes, wildfires, and other natural disasters. What kind of nation are we that would allow Canada to help us?’
And why does the United States allow the sale of so many products and services to Canada that it makes Canada our single largest export customer? Why do we aid in American businesses making so much money selling to Canadians?
And what has Canada given the United States - and the world?

Invented in Calgary in 1969.
The United States accepted these - and many other inventions - from Canada. These inventions altered life in America. We would be a different country today without the aforementioned inventions. Why did America allow these inventions to infiltrate our country?
Another reason Canada is “one of the worst countries in the entire world” is because they have allowed so many actors and singers to invade Hollywood. Just consider how these people have had such a negative impact on entertainment in America:
Dan Aykroyd, Mike Myers, Jim Carey, Ryan Gosling, Loren Michaels, Seth Rogan, Pamela Anderson, Keanu Reeves, Shania Twain, Bryan Adams, Alanis Morissette, Drake, Michael Buble,’ Terrance and Phillip, and that’s just naming a few.
It’s been awhile since a U.S. president has had a serious conflict with Canada and history shows that the only presidents that had issues with Canada were driven by their own egos.
Considering all that Canada has done to us - we should rally as a nation around President Trump’s current conflict with a country that has contributed so much to America.
