Two separate shootings in different parts of New Orleans left victims with wounds to their limbs.
The first shooting happened around 1:20 p.m. Wednesday on the edge of the French Quarter. According to an NOPD spokesperson, a person suffered a graze wound in a shooting that took place on St. Peter Street near North Rampart.
The second shooting happened around 9:15 p.m. Wednesday on North Rocheblave Street near Charbonnet Street in the Lower Ninth Ward. According to the spokesperson, a man was shot in his arm and leg. Police learned about the shooting when the victim arrived at the hospital seeking treatment for his wounds.
