Two Mandeville-area teenagers are facing charges after a home invasion early this morning.
According to authorities, the occupant of a home in the 1100 block of Lafayette St. near Mandeville reported an individual forced his way in through her front door around 4:45 a.m., fired a shot at her, then ran.
No one was hurt in the incident.
Deputies identified the suspect as 17-year-old Andrew Easley and arrested him on attempted murder and other charges.
The sheriff's office says they also arrested a 16-year-old accomplice.
"This was an extremely dangerous and reckless act that could have ended in the loss of life," said Sheriff Randy Smith. "We are very fortunate the victim was not injured."
