A man is dead after a weekend shooting in Lacombe.
According to St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office Sergeant Suzanne Carboni, someone called 911 around 3 a.m. Saturday to report a person lying in the middle of Brittany Drive near St. John Drive. When deputies arrived on scene, they found a man who had been shot. Sgt. Carboni added that the responding deputies found multiple shell casings near the victim.
The victim, described only as a Black man, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Deputies ask anyone who may have seen or heard anything in the area of Brittany Drive early Saturday morning to call the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office at 985-898-2338.
