State and local police are searching for an 89-year-old New Orleans man they believe is in danger.
Louisiana State police issued a silver alert for Johnnie Crutchfield. According to an LSP spokesperson, New Orleans police received the initial call around 8:15 a.m. Saturday from someone who reported Crutchfield missing from his Bonita Drive home.
Crutchfield stands 5’10” and weighs around 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black leather jacket and khaki pants. Investigators believe he may have walked away from his home.
Authorities say Crutchfield suffers from a medical condition that affects his judgment. However, police did not disclose what that condition is.
