Six arrested after Westbank raid, drug bust

Six people are in jail after a drug bust on the Westbank.

According to Louisiana State Police, federal, state, and local law enforcement executive search warrants that led to the seizure of two properties in Algiers, one located on General De Gaulle Drive and another on Erie Street. Authorities say they recovered cocaine, fentanyl, and Ecstasy pills as well as items used to distribute drugs.


Gabrielle Miles, 54, is facing charges that she operated a "clandestine lab for producing" drugs, though authorities did not say what type of drugs she allegedly produced. Miles is also facing posession, distribution, and conspiracy charges.

Quinton Gilmore, 45; Sashara Gilmore, 46; and Gregory Scott, 61, are facing multiple drug possession counts. Dwayne Refuge, 44, is facing two counts of conspiracy to distribute.

Terrell Brown, 32, was arrested on outstanding warrants.

All six are in the Orleans Parish Jail.

Louisiana State Police, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Drug Enforcement Agency, the New Orleans Police Department, and the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office all worked together on this case, which remains under investigation.
