The St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office says it booked a 52-year-old man today on 32 counts of sexual abuse of animals.
Authorities say a search of Kenneth Ord Starling's Victoria Way residence found numerous images and videos of animals being sexually abused. Detective obtained the warrant after receiving a complaint about Starling's possible inappropriate behavior.
The sheriff's office says Starling admitted to having sex with two of his dogs.
“As a dog owner myself I find this behavior unthinkable and very disturbing,” Sheriff Randy Smith said.
St. Tammany Parish Animal Control has taken possession of the animals that were at Starling's residence.
