A Slidell man is facing life in prison after he allegedly stabbed another man and left him in critical condition.
That stabbing happened just before noon on Saturday at a hotel on Yaupon Drive near Gause Boulevard East.
According to investigators, Tyrus Prescott and the victim were arguing and fighting when Prescott grabbed a knife and stabbed the victim several times. The victim was later taken to the hospital, where he's listed in critical condition. Officials say the victim's condition has been stablized.
Prescott, 28, is facing attempted second-degree murder and felon in possession of a firearm charges.
