Wall Street rallied following the election, but what about Main Street?
With the election over, optimism among small business owners is up, but uncertainty remains.
Leah Long, Louisiana director of the National Federation of Independent Business, says their members see encouraging signs.
"I think that has to do with the fact that the election's over," she said. "They're not as uncertain as they were about what the economy's going to look like."
Long say getting the election behind them calmed members down.
Another bright spot on the horizon, said Long, is Christmas.
"They look forward to the holiday season because shoppers are out and about," she said.
