Police say they have solved the case of a stolen snowball business.
"Lafourche Parish Sheriff Craig Webre announced two people have been arrested in connection with the theft of a trailer from a local snowball business," LPSO posted. "Ronald Perkins, 48, and Quiana Washington, 48, both of New Orleans, were arrested."
It came after thieves made off with the trailer a family in Cutoff uses to sell the frozen treats.
"This trailer means so much to our family and our grandchildren. It’s more than just a business—it’s something we’ve built together, made memories around, and used to give back to our community through school events, fundraisers, and local celebrations," the owners posted. "We’re heartbroken by this loss."
It took two days, but cops say they recovered the trailer in New Orleans East on Wednesday.
"Through investigation, and with assistance from the New Orleans Police Department and St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office, detectives identified Washington and Perkins as suspects in the theft. Both were taken into custody in New Orleans on Wednesday," according to Lafourche authorities.

The suspects are awaiting transfer to the Lafourche Parish Correctional Complex for felony theft.
"Bail is set at $100,000 for Perkins and $50,000 for Washington."
No word yet when Icy-Licious will be selling snowballs again.
