It is going to be pretty rainy Saturday and Sunday, but WWL-TV meteorologist Brooke Laizer tells us it won't rain all the time:
"We continue with on-and-off rain chances for much of the day Saturday," said Brooke. "It will not be a total washout, so anticipate some breaks with dryer weather, but heavy downpours are a possibility."
She says rainfall amounts could be between three and five inches over a couple of days, with some isolated spots getting heavier downpours.
"Make sure you think about where you're parking your car," Brooke cautions.
The city of New Orleans says drivers may park on neutral grounds to avoid flooding through 6 p.m. Saturday.
