While they were not able to march in a parade this past Mardi Gras, St. Augustine High School’s Marching 100 will get national attention this Sunday when they are featured on CBS’s ‘60 Minutes'.

‘60 Minutes’ Correspondent Sharyn Alfonsi spent several months in New Orleans working on the story, which chronicles the band struggle through the pandemic, as WWLTV reports.

"The heart and soul of the famous Mardi Gras parades of New Orleans are its marching bands, and few are as revered and storied as the St. Augustine High School Marching Band – self-dubbed the 'Best Band in the Land,'" CBS writes in its promotional material for the show.

The Marching 100’s segment airs on ‘60 Minutes’ this Sunday at 6 p.m. on CBS.
