Police Sunday released pictures of two alligators that were captured in populated areas of St. Charles Parish.
One was in the Ormond subdivision, the other near the Winn Dixie in Luling.
The St. Charles Parish Sheriff's Office says a sergeant and a corporal were able to wrangle the gators, put them in the back of a police vehicle and release them elsewhere.
"Sergeant Melton & Corporal Baird showed off some skills today," SCPSO posted. "Great job Sergeant Melton & Corporal Baird!"
Police say both alligators were safely relocated to areas away from citizens.
