Deputies in St. Tammany Parish search for a Covington man wanted for a shooting in Lacombe.
According to the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office, the shooting happened about 10 p.m. on Sunday in the 25000 block of West Spruce Street in Lacombe.
Responding deputies found two male victims with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds. The sheriff’s office says the victims told deputies an acquaintance, Patrick Amos, had shot them while he was arguing with one of the victims outside of the residence.
A warrant has been issued for Amos for the alleged shooting.
He faces two counts of Aggravated Second-degree Battery and one count of a Felon in Possession of a Firearm.
“Gun violence will not be tolerated in St. Tammany Parish,” Sheriff Randy Smith said. “Our detectives will continue to work tirelessly to make sure individuals responsible for crimes like this are apprehended and held accountable.”
