The St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office is turning to the public for help in finding a hit-and-run driver. The crash last week put a bicyclist in the hospital with serious injuries.
The sheriff's office says it happened around 8:30 in the morning of Monday, May 8, on Monitor Drive at the Tammany Trace near Slidell.
Deputies are looking for a light colored late-model Toyota Camry (see below). It has black rims, a black spoiler, and has an aftermarket loud exhaust.
The vehicle does not appear to have a license plate and likely has front end damage an possible damage along the passenger side of the vehicle.
