The Ponchatoula Strawberry Festival closed early this evening after gunshots in the area.
The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office says the shots happened outside the festival grounds. The sheriff's office and Ponchatoula Police are investigating.
It's not known if anyone was struck by the gunfire.
The sheriff's office asks anyone with information to contact Ponchatoula PD.
