Saints football is so close to kicking off you can almost taste it! Fans returning to Caesar's Superdome this Sunday are going to find a lot of changes to create more open, brighter spaces.
The renovations began in 2020, and Superdome spokesman Mike Hoss says fans will notice some of the biggest changes yet this season.
"There will be two new atrium lobby entrances at Gate B and Gate H," said Hoss, "and there will be new vertical transportation in those atriums to take guests from the 100 level all the way up to the 650 level."
Hoss says fans seated in the terrace can get straight to the upper decks from these lobbies.
"It's really a lot to see with new elevators in certain locations and new escalators," he said. "It's really going to be visually impressive."
There is also more elbow room in the upper deck concourses. Some work remains in progress, though, with one more off-season of renovations here at the Dome coming up in 2024, to get the building ready for Super Bowl LIX in 2025.
