A suspect in a New Orleans East homicide is now in custody.
NOPD officials say they arrested Marcus McDaniel during a traffic stop in Algiers this morning.
He's accused of shooting and killing Nicholas Dent on May 2, just days before Dent's 26th birthday.
McDaniel is facing a second-degree murder charge.
