The State Fire Marshal is looking for two people who allegedly started a fire inside the Covington Walmart, leading to an evacuation and forcing the store to close until further notice.
That fire happened around 8:15 p.m. Sunday while hundreds of customers were inside the store on North Highway 190.
According to investigators, the two suspects lit a road flare in the automotive section of the store. The fire consumed an aisle in that department, leading store managers to call for the evacuation. Nobody was injured.
Surveillance video caught the two suspects in the area where the fire began. They were later seen leaving the store in a small dark-colored SUV that drove away on North Highway 190.
If you know anything about the case, call the Fire Marshal's Arson Hotline at 1-844-954-1221.
