Kenner police executing a search warrant on a homicide suspect called in the SWAT team Wednesday morning.

According to Kenner police earlier today at 10:45 a.m., Kenner Police utilized their SWAT Team to execute a search warrant in the 3500 block of East Loyola Drive.

The search warrant was part of an ongoing investigation about a homicide that occurred on March 25, in the 700 block of Vouray Drive in Kenner.

In that investigation, detectives say 26-year-old Terrall McGee was found with multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead on the scene by EMS.

Police say the SWAT team was rolled as a standard precaution when executing a potentially high-risk search warrant said Kenner Police Captain Michael Cunningham. The situation ended without incident and there was no stand-off with the SWAT team.
