The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office says it has arrested Jamarcus Cyprian, who escaped custody six months ago.
Cyprian was one of four inmates the sheriff's office says escaped the jail by breaking through a fence, squeezing under a wall, and climbing a razor wire-topped fence in mid-May.
The other three inmates were apprehended within days of the escape.
The sheriff's office says it found Cyprian, 20, at a Hammond residence and arrested him Wednesday.
Cyprian was serving time for armed robbery and weapons charges.
The sheriff's office said it would announce more details about the case on Thursday afternoon.
