New Orleans Police Superintendent Shaun Ferguson today announced police have booked a 15-year-old on three counts of second-degree murder in the September 10 shootings in Gentilly that killed three people.
The teen had been detained shortly after the crime on an illegal weapon charge. Chief Ferguson today said they uncovered evidence that linked him to the killings.
"We have enough evidence that ties him into this murder," Ferguson said at NOPD headquarters. "These murders, actually, three murders."
Ferguson said the case is still under investigation, and asked anyone with information to call NOPD or Crimestoppers at (504) 822-1111.
