A shooting in New Orleans East has left a 13-year-old boy dead and police searching for clues.
According to a New Orleans Police Department spokesperson, the shooting happened around 8:30 p.m. on Curran Road at Shubert Street.
The spokesperson said the victim suffered a body wound. An EMS crew took the victim to the hospital, where he later died. The victim’s name and age were not disclosed.
