New Orleans police say gunfire Sunday night on the interstate sent one person to the hospital.
"The victim was traveling Eastbound on the interstate when he heard a loud shot," according to an initial police report. "The victim realized he was struck."
NOPD says the victim drove to the hospital where he was listed in stable condition.
Cops did not have any information about any suspects.
It happened shortly after 8:00 on the I-10 near the Elysian Fields exit.
The victim is an 17-year-old male.
