A ten-month-old child is among four people injured in a shooting in Marrero.
It happened Wednesday night in the 6500 block of Lapalco Boulevard.
The Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspects in a shooting.
According to a JPSO report, a 34-year-old male and juveniles aged 15, 4, and 10 months were injured in the shooting.
While all suffered injuries that were initially considered not life-threatening, the adult victim and 4-year-old are now listed in more serious condition.
“Just after 11:00 pm, the victims arrived at a local hospital via private vehicle. The adult victim advised deputies that a silver SUV pulled alongside his vehicle in a turning lane and shot into his vehicle multiple times. He was able to drive himself and his passengers to the hospital for treatment. Our investigators have not been able to confirm a motive for the shooting at this time,” said JPSO spokesperson Captain Jason Rivarde.
Anyone with information regarding this incident or the identities of the suspect(s) or the suspect vehicle is asked to call our Gun Violence Unit at 504-364-5300 or contact Crimestoppers.
