A 15-year old is shot after he and another 15-year-old allegedly tried to rob a man in Terrytown.
As reported by The Times Picayune | New Orleans Advocate, a spokesperson for Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office said about 9:30 p.m. the pair of teens approached a 22-year-old-man sitting in his vehicle parked in a driveway in the 400 block of West Butterfly Circle in Terrytown.
One of the teens armed with a handgun allegedly pointed the gun at the victim’s head. That is when authorities say the victim armed himself with a gun and shot the teen. Responding deputies later found the two teens were found hiding in a nearby backyard.
Both were arrested. The injured teen was taken to the hospital for treatment and will be booked with attempted armed robbery, possession of a firearm by a juvenile once he is released.
