“One thing to watch will be how many thunderstorms are able to form in the afternoons.
We're expecting at least spotty rain which would help a little with the heat.
Still, with plenty of mugginess in place the heat index will soar to near 112 degrees in the afternoons through Saturday,” says WWLTV Meteorologist Payton Malone.
