Four people were shot and wounded during an overnight series of gun violence across New Orleans.
It began with a woman being shot in the jaw in the Pines Village area of New Orleans East off Downman Road and Selma Street.
Then in Algiers gunfire erupted and a 14-year-old sustained multiple gunshots to the abdomen. This occurred off Newton and LeBoeuf Streets early Saturday morning.
Across the river to the CBD where a man was shot near the intersection of Gravier and S. Claiborne Avenue. The victim sustained several gunshot and was transported to a hospital.
The victim in the fourth shooting sustained gunshots to the back and was taken to a hospital in private conveyance. NOPD is still trying to determine the location of the crime.
