More than 6,500 Entergy customers lost power during scattered storms Friday night.
The outages were mostly in the New Orleans neighborhoods of Mid City and Central City, along with parts of Treme and the French Quarter.
“Entergy New Orleans is aware of an outage currently impacting approximately 6,500 customers in Central city and elsewhere,” the utility said in a statement.
“Cause is under investigation at this time, believed to be related to weather impacts.”
