
NIAGARA COUNTY, N.Y. (WBEN) - Three more people have died in Niagara County, bringing the death toll there to 21 as of Friday morning.
The three new deaths were all men with underlying health conditions. Their ages were 70, 76, and 94.
Niagara County reported 359 confirmed cases of coronavirus. The City of Niagara Falls has the most confirmed cases of any municipality within the county with 107 cases.
There are 175 people who have recovered from coronavirus.
Twenty people remain hospitalized with the disease.
"All of the evidence statewide is showing New York is on the downward side of the curve," Niagara County Chairwoman Rebecca Wydysh said.
However, she said that Niagara County projects to be weeks behind what New York City's coronavirus curve.
There are 1,635 people who were tested for coronavirus in Niagara County.
