A trio of New Orleans restaurants are enjoying even more notoriety after making the list of North America's 50 Best Restaurants.
Dakar is the highest ranked eatery in the city, coming in at number four on the continent.
“You'll find buzzy chatter coming from the communal tables throughout the intimate and brilliant Dakar NOLA,” 50 Best wrote.
The is described as “a tasting menu… inspired by the coastal cuisines of Senegal and South Louisiana.”
Emeril's comes in as the 20th best in North America.
“Originally opened by chef Emeril Lagasse in 1990, this Warehouse District restaurant is now helmed by his son, EJ. EJ's menu celebrates the best of Louisiana produce and Southern culinary tradition while also embracing more forward-looking dishes.”
Coming in at number 30 is Acamaya.
