New Orleans police are investigating three separate shootings that happened within a half-an-hour of each other Saturday night. At least two of those shootings happened just blocks away from each other, with a man and a woman dying in one of those incidents.

Officers learned of the first shooting around 8:50 p.m. when a 20-year-old man suffering from multiple wounds arrived at a local hospital. An NOPD spokesperson says investigators are trying to figure out where the shooting happened.

The second shooting happened around 9 p.m. on Stemway Drive near Ransom Street in New Orleans East. The spokesperson says a woman was shot and treated by EMS at the scene. The spokesperson did not say what the woman’s condition is. The spokesperson later confirmed that two other people arrived at area hospitals after being shot in the Stemway Drive incident. One of the victims was grazed by a bullet. The other suffered arm and elbow wounds.

Four minutes after police learned about that shooting, they were called about a second shooting that happened about four blocks away. That shooting on Beechcraft Street near Skyview Drive left a man wounded. Investigators say they found the victim outside a car when they arrived. That woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Another victim was located, that victim was rushed to a hospital but succumb to their injuries.

NOPD later determined the actual location of the shootings was on Beechcraft near Skyview Drive.
