New Orleans Police say three women sustained graze wounds during an altercation stemming from an aggravated assault on Bourbon Street.
The incident took place between St. Peter and Orleans Streets around 1am.
NOPD reports the suspect was involved in an altercation with a security guard at a nightclub when they produced a handgun.
One shot was fired, the bullet fragmented and struck three victims.
The suspect was consequently apprehended by NOPD.
The first victim was transported to a local hospital via NOEMS.
The second Victim made their own way to a local hospital in a private car.
The third female victim and a fourth, a male involved in the melee, were uninjured.
