A Mega Millions lottery ticket bought in Gretna over the summer is worth $10,000, and will expire next month if no one claims it.
The ticket matched four white balls and the Mega Ball.
The winning numbers for the July 11 drawing are 10, 17, 33, 51, 64 and the Mega Ball number was 05.
If no one claims it by 5 p.m. January 7, the money goes into the lottery's unclaimed prizes fund, which boosts payouts to winners of other lottery games.
