Rain is the forecast for the busiest parade weekend of the Carnival calendar, but the timing appears to be holding up for the precipitation to miss parade hours.
"Tomorrow's going to be warm and humid with temperatures in the 70s," said WWL-TV meteorologist Alexa Trischler. "We'll have some heavy rain and strong storms coming in during the early morning hours of Sunday, but rain should be done by 9 a.m. Sunday."
Sunday's high will be in the mid 70s.
Lundi and Mardi Gras both should be dry with highs in the 70s.
