A toddler is hospitalized this morning after sustaining a gunshot wound late last night.
It happened in New Orleans East.
NOPD says the injured toddler was taken to a hospital by a private car.
The shooting happened in on Wright Road near the intersection with Pressburg Street.
A search for suspects is ongoing.
The toddler's condition was not released.
