Early morning gunfire on the Westbank of Jefferson Parish killed one man and injured two more.
"Just after 3:30 a.m., deputies were called to the 1100 block of Candlelight Drive in Marrero after 3 men were shot inside a residence," Captain Jason Rivarde said in a news release.
He says they arrived to find three adult males suffering from gunshot wounds.
"One person was pronounced dead on the scene, while the other two were transported to a local hospital for treatment. The circumstances of the shooting are currently under investigation."
Rivarde says there is no information on suspects or motives to release at this time.
