Louisiana State Police officials say all driver should use extreme caution if they must travel.
Roads across the state are increasingly icy.
Cops say if signs are posted saying a road in closed, it is important to obey those signs.
"It is illegal and potentially dangerous to drive around 'road closed' barricades at any time for any reason," State Police posted. "These closures are executed to prevent crashes and to prevent motorists from becoming stranded."
