Forecasters say people near the Louisiana / Texas state line should prepare for a landfalling Tropical Storm Edouard.
The National Hurricane Center expects a system south of the New Orleans area to get stronger.
“A short-lived tropical depression or tropical storm is likely to form before the system reaches the Upper Texas or southwestern Louisiana coasts by tonight or Tuesday morning,” the NHC posted.
WWL TV Meteorologist Payton Malone says Southeast Louisiana will get some rain from this.
