Louisiana State Police say drivers should expect delays along US 90 in Lafourche Parish.
"Troopers are currently on the scene of an overturned 18 wheeler on US Highway 90 East at milepost 214 just before LA Highway 1 in Raceland," State Police posted.
They say the truck tumbled onto its side this morning.
As of 7:00am some traffic was still getting by.
"Currently, the right lane is open for eastbound traffic. However, as recovery efforts progress, Highway 90 East will be closed and traffic detoured to LA Highway 182."
Troopers urge caution if traveling through the area.
