Former President Donald Trump is taking his 2024 campaign efforts to Louisiana—specifically, to Jefferson Parish.
According to an email invitation sent Tuesday by the Louisiana Republican Party, Trump will visit Metairie on Tuesday, July 25 for a campaign fundraiser hosted by businessmen Boysie Bollinger and Joseph Canizaro. According to the invitation, a ticket to the VIP reception costs $3,300. If you want a picture with the former president, you’ll have to pony up even more money. The flyer says a photo opportunity with Trump along with a ticket to the VIP reception costs $23,200 per person or couple.
The flyer does not say where the fundraiser will be held. Attendees will be notified of the location after they submit their RSVP.
“To clarify, this is not an LAGOP event,” the flyer says. “This is an event hosted by the Trump Campaign.
