The NOPD is working to fatal stabbings that happened early Friday morning.
Authorities were called after an unknown female was dropped off at University Medical Center suffering from multiple stab wounds. The woman was pronounced dead shortly after arriving at the hospital. This incident happened about 2:00 am, but authorities are still working to determine where the stabbing took place.
The second fatal stabbing was reported by police at 5:12 am. Police say they were notified after an unknown female, also suffering from multiple stab wounds and was dropped off at the hospital by private vehicle. Doctors pronounced her dead shortly after arriving.
Authorities are working to identify the location where the stabbings took place and a suspect in either incident or if the stabbings are related.
