New Orleans police are investigating two afternoon shootings. In one of the cases, they’re trying to figure out where the shooting happened.
Officers received a call about the first shooting around 3:18 p.m. Saturday from a local hospital. Police say someone drove the victim to an emergency room to seek treatment. Officers say the victim in that case suffered an arm wound. However, officers do not yet know where that shooting took place.
The second shooting call come in just before 4 p.m. from Pauger Street near North Miro in the Seventh Ward. Police say the victim suffered a shoulder wound and went to a local hospital for treatment.
