JPSO is looking for clues after two men were shot and killed Sunday.
"Sheriff Joseph Lopinto reports that the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office is investigating the shooting deaths of two unidentified men that were discovered this evening in Avondale," Sergeant Brandon Veal said in an email.
It happened around 5:30pm.
"Deputies responded to a report of two unresponsive males inside a residence in the 200 block of Coretta Dr. Upon arrival, they located two men who were both suffering from at least one gunshot wound."
Veal said both men were pronounced dead on the scene.
"This investigation is in its early stages."
