A tragic crash claimed the lives of two children in New Orleans East around 4 PM Monday. New Orleans Police report the incident occurred near the intersection of I-510 South and I-10 East.
An adult male and two boys were in the vehicle at the time when their vehicle collided with another vehicle. The male and two boys in the one vehicle were all brought to University Medical Center in critical condition. The two minors were pronounced dead at the hospital. The driver of the other vehicle was not brought to the hospital.
No details are currently available as to how the crash occurred.
Lanes on I-510 East were blocked as a result of the crash.
