Kenner police have arrested two more suspects in a Kenner murder cold case that was reopened thanks to an inquiry by the Netflix series Unsolved Mysteries.
Authorities say Lee Williams, 35, from New Orleans and Zetonio Lightfoot, 31, from Kenner, were each charged with two counts of First-Degree Murder in the fatal double shooting of Hermania Ellsworth and Charles Davis on June 17, 2010.
According to a Kenner Police press release, US Marshals Task Force arrested Lee on April 30, at an address in New Orleans.
Lightfoot was arrested on May 3, while incarcerated at the Richland Parish Detection Center in Rayville Louisiana. Lightfoot was due to be paroled when charged with the homicides.
Dernell Nelson was arrested was the first to be arrested on April 22, which now brings the total number of arrests to three.
