New Orleans Police say a woman and a man were shot Saturday afternoon on the Pontchartrain Expressway.
"The victims were in a vehicle on the interstate when they heard shots fired, and realized they were both shot."
The 24-year-old woman and the 36-year-old man had bullet wounds to their legs.
"Both victims arrived at the hospital via private conveyance."
It happened just after 4:30pm.
The victims were on US 90B near the St. Charles Avenue exit.
