New Orleans police are investigating a fatal shooting that claimed the life of one adult male and injured another.
It happened around 4:23 pm on Monday, in the 4100 block of Jumonville Street in the Filmore area.
“Upon arrival, officers located two adult males suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. The first victim was pronounced dead on scene by EMS. The second victim was transported to the hospital by EMS,” the NOPD reports.
The Orleans Parish Coroner's Office will determine the official cause of death and release the victim's name, upon completion of autopsy and notification of family.
