Two people were attacked early Mardi Gras morning by a man wielding an ice pick, New Orleans Police say.
The assault happened on Bourbon Street shortly after midnight.
Police say the two men, a 30-year-old and a 24-year-old, were approached in the 500 block of Bourbon St. by an unknown male who stabbed the 30-year-old with an ice pick. The 24-year-old man tried to intervene, and was cut on the arm.
Police say the suspect then fled the scene.
